Happy Friday, everyone! I put winter clothes away last weekend, but had to pull a couple pieces out over this week, so I’m not sure when warmer days will be here. In the meantime, here are my Friday Favourites, including a crewneck sweatshirt for those chilly spring days.
This classic crewneck sweatshirt from Eddie Bauer is my go-to on rainy, overcast days at the office (I actually refer to them as my uniform). They’re super comfy, not too slim, and not too relaxed. They even come in six different colours. And bonus: right now they’re 50% off.
Power bowls aren’t a new trend, but they’re my favourite lately because I’ve been really lazy in the kitchen. Made from grains, greens, and protein, they’re a nutritionally dense way to eat a meal that’s a lot more filling than just a salad. A quick Google search will reveal dozens of thematic recipes, but feel free to mix with whatever ingredients you have around.
My regular is kale, quinoa, sweet potato, black beans, broccoli, goat cheese, and a protein.
We recently remodeled the main floor of our house, which has now led into furniture shopping. We’re going for an elevated timeless style. The first piece we acquired is truly timeless — an English sofa with deep seats and low, rolled arms. We had ours custom made, but I love the Bedford from Williams Sonoma.
You know I love Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day products and with pops of colour and spring finally here, I’ve stocked up on the lilac limited series.
I am obsessed (to say the least) with mixed media collages and this one from @gregory.molony is stunning!
I’ve had OhHeyMy’s Pressing Rewind on repeat all week and the lyric video is super cute to boot.
Eww, David, is an explanation really necessary?
